Vancouver:

About The People

The city of Vancouver has a population of 611,869 and the population of Metro Vancouver is 2,249,725. The Vancouver area is the largest metropolitan area in Western Canada.

Vancouver is ethnically diverse. 52% of city residents and 43% of Metro residents have a first language other than English. Because of this, Vancouver is known for its different ethnic neighbourhoods, such as the Punjabi Market, Little Italy, Greektown, Chinatown and Japantown. In addition, bilingual signs can be found almost anywhere on Vancouver. (Source: Wikipedia)
