City of Vancouver

Vancouver is the largest city in British Columbia, Canada, situated on the western shore of the Lower Mainland, an hour and a half Ferry ride away from British Columbia’s capital, Victoria. It is a major seaport named after the British explorer, Captain George Vancouver. The name originates from the Dutch term ‘van Coevorden’, indicating somebody from the old city Coevorden, In The Netherlands.
